While recording my battery died, after replacing it with another one the
camera would display the error
E01 - Unit in safeguard mode, remove and reattach battery.

There is a little button that detects the presence of the battery. On
JVC's you have to slam the battery on really hard. Or the button won't
pop out. It won't reset until you "force" the button.
